God is a Spirit, referred to in the Holy Bible by many names, but always there, always present. Indeed, in John 4:24, we are reminded that “He is a Spirit; therefore He is seeking true worshippers who are ready to worship Him in spirit and in Truth.” A Spirit does not need the four walls of a church to contain His glory; our God does not for us to expose ourselves to danger in order to worship and join in celebration of our Lord. He is everywhere, He is everything, and you can worship him no matter where you are. Of course, as humans, we must draw strength from each other, and God has given us many ways to do this. While people of older days would have been hopelessly isolated, our Lord has blessed us with technology that lets us “look” right at each other from our phones, tablets, or laptops—bringing online religious services right into your living room.
